Lianhu District , the district of Xi’an City, is located in the northwest of Xi’an City. East to North Street, North Guanzheng Street, Longshou Village borders the New City District, west to Xihu Railway, north to Wei 26th Street to Weiyang District, south to the Moat, Dahuanhe and Beilin District and Yanta District . It has a total area of 38 square kilometers and a total population of 712,300 (2015). Jurisdiction over 9 streets, the district government is located at No. 159, Beiyuanmen Street, Beiyuanmen Street.
Lianhu District is the starting point of the famous “Silk Road” in history, with large-scale sculptures of “Silk Road”, Datang West City, Datang West City Museum and other Silk Road tourist attractions.
The transportation is well developed. Longhai Railway and Xihu Railway pass through, and there are streets such as Huancheng Road and Second Ring Road.
